Modflow on parallel processing seemed to lie in the far-off future, but now it’s possible to take advantage of most of your cores to run parallelized versions of MODFLOW 6. This time we have done an applied example for the interactive generation of cross section from a Modflow 6 model with a voronoi mesh on a Jupyter notebook. The cross section shows the model grid, head distribution as a color grid and contours and its generated from the line delineation over the 2d view of the model grid. The code can be easily adapted to any Modflow model by editing the Python and Flopy code.
